Cetaria Diving Center Scopello, Castellammare Sicily

The lion point is an overhang under which there is a colourful wall with a small cave, filled with shrimps. You begin the dive on a large rocky slab headed east.

Due to location, there are many larger pelagic fish associated with this area, such as Carangid, Groupers and Saraghi. Under the overhang a colony of Anthias live on the wall which is rich in sea daisies, bryozoans, false coral.

The hidden gorges are populated by lobsters, congers, morays and scorpion fishes.

Going down to the depth of 24 m there is a funnel shaped cave. Inside, thousands of small shrimps, a Grouper and a Pinna Nobilis shell live together.
